SOCCER SURVIVAL CAMP was established in 2004 by Founder and Director, Fallston High School Men’s Varsity Head Soccer Coach Christopher A. Hoover. Coach Hoover was the first, and is currently the only, Harford County UCBAC coach to organize and run a day soccer camp for the Harford County community.

Coach Hoover has been at Fallston HS for 22 seasons and has a record of 227-97-11. Under his direction the Fallston Cougars Men’s Soccer team has gone to the MPSSAA finals 8 times and has had over 80 players that have gone one to play at the college level.

Coach Hoover has be honored with the 2024 Maryland Soccer Coach of the Year by the NFHS, was a Mid-Atlantic Regional Coach of the Year Finalist in 2004, 2008, and 2022, was the UCBAC Coach of the Year for 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, and 2009, is a Distinguished Merit National Diploma winner for 2011, and is 2020 3Dimensional Coaching Institute & Athletic Administration Certified. Coach Hoover has also worked in the college ranks at York College of Pennsylvania as the First Assistant Head Coach in the Capital Athletic Conference.

Coach Hoover and his family are proud lifelong Harford County residents and Coach Hoover has been a teacher at Fallston High School for 30 years !
